
The City of Bloomington has an unusually broad and interesting array of pubs, cafes, and restaurants featuring local and international cuisines. Most offer moderately priced selections. Many are within easy walking distance of the Indiana Memorial Union. Many of the local restaurants feature fresh, locally grown meats and produce.
Symposium organizers will be working with the Bloomington Visitors and Convention Bureau to provide APS participants with special coupons and discounts at local eateries.
Dining guides will be included in your registration packets.

4th Street -Renowned for its large selection of ethnic restaurants – Indian, Italian, Moroccan Burmese, Mexican, Korean and Tibetan. Many have outdoor seating. Most are moderately priced.
Kirkwood Avenue – the main street leading from campus to downtown Bloomington. Along Kirkwood you will find many casual eating options – bars, pubs, pizzerias, ice cream and sandwich shops
Downtown Bloomington – a variety of eateries ranging from California-style coffee shop to sports bars to cafes to a long-standing Greek restaurant. Downtown Bloomington has two establishments – each with master chefs who have established national and international recognition for their culinary expertise.
Along 10th Street – convenient for those staying at Willie Residence Center – sushi, local micro brewery, sandwiches and sport bar
A short drive or taxi ride from campus, you might enjoy checking out:

- Limestone Grille – upscale
- Tutto Bene Wine Café – wine, hor d’oeurves – often featuring local entertainment in a stunningly attractive, contemporary setting
