Most participants will find that traveling to Indiana University through Indianapolis International Airport is most convenient. International guests can elect to schedule direct flights into either Chicago O’Hara or Cincinnati International and then take a short 30 minute flight into Indianapolis.

- When departing the airport, exit on to Interstate 465, south and east
- Exit at Hwy. 37, South
- Continue on Hwy 37 through Martinsville
- Exit Hwy 37 at “College & Walnut” (you will emerge on College)
- Continue on College Avenue to 7th Street
- Turn LEFT on 7th Street
- Continue about 7 blocks
- Turn RIGHT into the circle drive in front of the Indiana Memorial Union (parking is available in one of two lots adjacent to the IMU)

Indiana Memorial Union. Free parking is available to all guests who stay at the Indiana Memorial Union. Commuters or participants who elect to stay at a hotel other than the IMU, may park in one of two parking lots adjacent to the IMU. Discount parking passes will be available at the registration desk for APS participants.
Willkie Residence Center. A modest fee is charged to park at Willkie Residence Center. You may purchase a parking pass at the Center desk of the Center, when you check in. It is not necessary to purchase a parking pass before you arrive on campus. Fees are assessed for weekday days only.
On campus. Parking on campus is limited. Since most Symposium activities will be located in close proximity to the IMU, we suggest that you park in one of the two lots adjacent to the IMU and walk the relatively short distances to Symposium events.
Handicap parking. If you need to have special parking access, please email your request to: aps21st@indiana.edu and we will arrange for special parking passes which will enable you to park close to Symposium venues.
